Rooms

Can you put an extra children's bed?

Yes, this is possible in all rooms, except in the double rooms (free of charge)

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed at our hotel.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Yes, we love welcoming families! Each room is designed for a maximum of 2 adults. A baby can be comfortably accommodated in a baby bed (up to 120 cm). Please note that additional single beds cannot be added, so children will share the room with one adult.

IS THERE WI‑FI IN THE ROOMS?

Yes, all rooms have free Wi‑Fi so you can stay connected during your stay.

Do you offer luggage storage?

Yes, we can store your bags for you free of charge in our secure luggage storage area. Please note: luggage storage is at own risk.

WHAT IN-ROOM AMENITIES ARE INCLUDED?

All rooms come with Chromecast TV, Zennio domotica, Free wifi, Nespresso machine, Minibar, Safe, Floor heated bathroom, Walk-in rainshower, Codage Paris care products and a Towel radiator.

CAN I DROP MY LUGGAGE IN THE MORNING IF CHECK-IN IS ONLY AT 3 PM?

Yes, you can bring your luggage from 7:00 AM onwards, and we will store it safely until your room is ready.

Public transport

The best way to visit Ghent is by train, with several connections per hour from Brussels, Brussels Airport, Antwerp and Bruges.

To Ghent by train

We recommend arriving in Gent-Sint-Pieters Train station as One Two Four Hotel is just 10 minutes on the main tram line and a 4 minutes walk from the tram stop.

From Gent-Sint-Pieters train station take tram 1 direction Evergem.

Between the train station and Gent Zuid the stops are:

By Car

One Two Four Hotel is easy to reach by car and there are several parking options nearby. Make sure to use your GPS as there is a very strict traffic plan in place with several car-free zones.

Low emission zone (LEZ)

The city center of Ghent is part of a 'Low Emission Zone' or LEZ where older and more polluting cars are being discouraged from entering the city and have to buy a day pass.

CAN I CHARGE AN ELECTRIC CAR AT THE HOTEL?

Currently, we do not have EV charging stations on-site. However, there are public charging stations within walking distance from the hotel.

WHAT ARE THE PARKING DIMENSIONS?

The entrance gate has a maximum height clearance of 2.1 m.
Each parking space has a width of 2.4m. If you are travelling with a larger vehicle or have any questions regarding access, please feel free to contact us in advance — we’ll be happy to assist.

Breakfast

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THE BREAKFAST?

Our lovely breakfast costs €24 if booked in advance (ultimately the day before) or €28 if you book the day of your breakfast.

Where is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served downstairs at our breakfast bar. Follow the signs on the stairs and in the elevator. During summer, it is also allowed to have breakfast outside in our lounge.

When is breakfast served?

Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 10:30
Saturday, Sunday & special holidays: 07:30 to 11:00

Do I need to book in advance?

You can book breakfast together with your stay.

If you haven't booked with your stay and would still like to have breakfast, you can book it via our front desk the day before (€24) or the same day (€28).

Room service

On special request we can serve breakfast in your room, please book at the front desk the day before, before 8 pm. There is a surcharge of 20€ per room for this service.

Take away

We can organise for you to take away your breakfast, please book the day before, before 8 PM.

DO YOU OFFER VEGETARIAN, VEGAN, OR SPECIAL DIETARY OPTIONS?

Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Please inform us in advance so we can prepare your breakfast accordingly.

Bar & restaurant

Is there a bar in the hotel?


You can purchase drinks by ordering them at our front desk (7:00 – 22:00) or you can purchase drinks from the maxi fridge (available 24/7)

Can I have something to drink in the hotel?

Yes, you can. You can purchase a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic chilled drinks and crisps by ordering them at our front desk (7:00 – 22:00) or by using our maxi fridge with your bank card. You can purchase chilled drinks using your bank card and enjoy them in our covered (heated) outdoor lounge or in your room.

May I bring my own drinks to the lounge area?

Unfortunately, it is not permitted to bring and consume your own drinks in our lounge area. We invite you to enjoy our selection of drinks, which you can purchase from the maxi fridge or order from our front desk staff.

CAN I HAVE LUNCH OR DINNER IN THE HOTEL?

Our hotel does not serve lunch or dinner. However, there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel. Our front desk will be happy to give you a list of restaurants that we can recommend.

Spa

How do I book the spa?

Our spa operates on a reservation basis. We recommend booking a time slot in advance. You can reserve a one-hour time slot during which the spa is exclusively and privately available to you. Availability depends on the schedule of the day. In your confirmation email, you will find a reservation link that allows you to easily book a time slot yourself.

Do I need swimwear?

No, swimwear is not required. The spa is private during your reserved time slot, so you can decide whether you want to use the facilities with or without swimwear. We provide bathrobes, towels, and slippers to ensure you can fully relax.
Please use the towels to protect the wooden sauna benches.

I am staying multiple nights. Can I use the spa more than once during my stay?

Yes, absolutely. If you are staying with us for multiple nights, you can reserve a one-hour time slot for each day of your stay. This way, you can enjoy private use of the spa multiple times (subject to availability).

We are staying with several guests in the hotel. Can we use the spa together?

Yes, you can. If you are staying with family or friends, you may use the spa together during your reserved time slot. For optimal comfort and to ensure proper use of the facilities, we apply a maximum of 6 people per time slot.

Is there a swimming pool or jacuzzi?

Unfortunately, we do not have a swimming pool or jacuzzi. However, our spa offers various facilities, including a Finnish sauna, a hammam, an infrared wall, and comfortable loungers with heated ceramic plates.

Can I book a massage?

No, we do not offer massages at the hotel. If you would like to book a massage, our front desk will gladly provide a few addresses in the center of Ghent where you can make an appointment directly.

Do I need to inform you if I can no longer use the spa?

Yes, we kindly ask that you always let us know if you no longer wish to use your reserved spa time slot. This allows us to free up the slot and give other guests the opportunity to enjoy the spa.

Can I book the spa as a non-guest?

Yes, you can. Please contact us at hello@onetwofour.be so we can provide you with availability and rates.

CAN I ORDER A DRINK IN THE SPA?

Yes! Fresh water is available free of charge to stay hydrated during your spa visit. If you want to make your spa experience extra special, you can pre-order drinks such as white wine or champagne together with your booking, or order them through the Front Desk on the day of your visit.

CELEBRATIONS

CAN I ARRANGE A CELEBRATION OR SPECIAL OCCASION DURING MY STAY?

Yes! We offer special celebration packages that can be added to your booking. Options include artisanal chocolates, a personalised birthday card, or a bottle of champagne with a custom message.

SUSTAINABILITY

HOW DOES THE HOTEL PRACTICE SUSTAINABILITY?

We take care to reduce our environmental impact wherever possible. We use eco-friendly cleaning products throughout the hotel, serve local and seasonal products at breakfast, and carefully manage energy and water usage in all areas of the hotel.

HOW CAN I, AS A GUEST, HELP?

You can help us be more sustainable by reusing towels during your stay. Small choices like this help reduce water and energy consumption and make a positive difference for the environment.
